Day 12

Friday, got up at 1, got ready, had some cornflakes with mixed red berries in it, we went to Marseille to get the boat to the château d’If but it was too windy so we couldn’t go. BUMMER!!! So we went shopping instead. I didn’t find anything I liked and the stores were fairly run down. I don’t have a high opinion of Marseille at this point but I think that mat be due to the combination of being in a new strange place and a bit of annoyance aimed at the company I was keeping. Oh and by the way Marseille doesn’t have Harry Potter in English so I will have to wait till I get to Paris. AHHHHHHHRGH! Oh well I guess after missing the special midnight showing one more week won‘t make a difference. I did get some nice yarn and knitting needles here and I have started a scarf so that is productive. We had lunch in Marseille, I had a chicken, mozzarella, and tomato Panini and then a nutella crepe, very yummy. After shopping we came back around 6:30, sat around and I knitted and then around 9 we had dinner. We had cucumber again for appetizer and then some pasta with tomato sauce for diner and some chocolate yogurt and cookies again for desert. We then watched Calendar Girls in French with English subtitles, it was good though I wish I could have heard all their Yorkshire accents. We then went to bead around 1 in the morning with the same sleeping arrangements as before.
