Day 18

Thursday, Today I got up and had cereal. Then I watched an MI5 and Penelope. Then around 6 we went to the city center of Villneuve which is the area that Margaux lives in, on the other side of the Rhine as Avignon. It was lovely with an entire city from the middle ages that people are still living in today. The walls are covered in ivy and the doors are about as tall as I am. It was like walking through someplace straight out of Harry Potter (which by the way I will be seeing very shortly!!!!!) I took lots and lots of pictures. We had to go late in the day when the sun was going down because Margaux has had a really bad reaction to the sun burn she got on Sunday and she can’t go out in the sun for 10 days. She is walking around in all black with a big black scarf wrapped around her head like a Burka. We came back and I finished Penelope then we had dinner. We had salad with the vinegar dressing and bread, then some fried rice. Then the usual dessert except this time we but bits of chocolate in our yogurt because it wasn’t very sweet and it was fairly bland. I then went up, took a shower and then watched The Little Princess and then On the Wings of the Dove. I talked on skype then went to bed. It was so hot!!!! I couldn’t believe it!! Just sitting still I was sweating, not just sticky but actually sweating!!!!!!! I don’t think it will be this hot in Paris! I hope not!
